How We’re Handling Covid-19

Please understand that ballooning is an open-air, outdoor activity. During the flight, and during transportation to/from the launch/landing sites, we cannot adhere to the current recommended physical distance guidelines. Therefore, masks are required by all passengers and crew during these times. There is open air flow in the basket, and transportation to/from the launch/landing sites is in a Chevrolet Tahoe, with the windows down. If you do not have your mask, one will be provided for you.

Our balloon basket accommodates pilot and 4-5 passengers. Most of our flights consist of the pilot and 2 couples. Reservations for two people at the per person rate are likely to be combined with another group, especially on the weekends and holidays. Any reservations made at the per person rate understand and agree to ride with other passengers. If you are not comfortable flying with another group, we get it. We also offer private flights that are exclusive of other passengers. Please see our rates page for pricing information.

The health and safety of our passengers and crew is our top priority. If you or anyone in your group is suspected or known to have come into contact with someone who has been exposed to COVID-19 within the 14 days prior to your scheduled flight time, please contact us immediately. We are happy to reschedule your flight.

Please know that we take this virus very seriously. We have approached flying under these new circumstances with an abundance of caution in order to balance our commitment to not only safety but also hospitality. We want to provide the most fun experience possible. We feel fortunate that the way we operate our business is extremely low risk due to the very nature of outdoor activities, and we know that the best experience is a fun, safe experience. Please feel free to speak directly with Mandy, who is also an RN, regarding any concerns that you have.
